Yeah what it says in the title! For one of my very many uni projects I'm making a series of strange mickey mouse creations. I like the idea of him eating in them or holding something odd. Not sure why, lets call it character building :P I'll post more as I do them.

Summer project

I had a project to do over summer. I didn't know about this until 2 days before it was due in...I had to do a self portrait and express parts of my personality. Pretty bog standard really. I did a very simple drawing because I'm not exactly complicated. Very self explanatory!

Cheeky preview!

Im attempting a comic in a sin city sort of style, 3 block colours and simple line work. This is a drawing Ive done in illustrator, printed onto brown parcel paper and worked into with a fine liner. I'm pretty pleased with the outcome :) I'll post more when I can. Im busy moving house at the moment, EXCITING!

Final Major Project!

This was a self generated project for my final year of my foundation degree. re-design 3 Roahld Dahl titles and make a box to contain them. I love Roalh Dahl and Quentin Blake, so I though this project would be a nice change of pace and challenging.

Stampy!

This is a RSA project. The brief was to make 6 stamps based on British fashion. I chose to look at the 1800's because I think thats the era in fashion that has come around again with all this indie jazz.

I love Tank Girl

I am a geek when it comes to comics (on a purely artistic level of course). My favourite is Tank Girl by Jamie Hewlett and Alan Martin. I attempted to draw myself in tank girl inspired way, I think I captured a slightly crazy side of my personality. But its me all the same. I drew an additional girl and will have more up soon.

Zombie generation!

This is a viral project aimed at designers and their 'fear' of blank paper. The idea is that you visit the website, either print or recieve a blank zombie template throught the post (depending on if you want to be a fast or slow zombie) and create yourself as a zombie. Then past it on via email or post again...Zombies are then uploaded onto the website and you can watch them slow take over the world!
